China’s Share of Global Container Exports Hits 40%

China now accounts for about 40% of global container exports on a rolling three-month basis, up 2.5 points in nine months. Rising Asia-Europe flows and a six-to-one China-Europe imbalance come as the EU considers additional import tariffs.
